EL SEGUNDO – The Los Angeles Lakers have assigned second-year center Ivica Zubac to the South Bay Lakers, it was announced today.
In two games with South Bay this season, Zubac has averaged 21.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 28.9 minutes per game. In Zubac’s first appearance with the team this season, he shot 10-11 from the field and scored a G League career-high 23 points.
Zubac is expected to be in uniform tonight when South Bay hosts the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario at 7:00 p.m. from the UCLA Health Training Center.
