EL SEGUNDO – The South Bay Lakers will play a preseason game against the Northern Arizona Suns on Sunday, October 29 at 5:00 PM at the UCLA Health Training Center, the team announced today. This game is part of a partnership that was announced prior to the 2016-17 season that included a preseason game played in Prescott Valley last season.
The preseason tilt will be the first game played on the home court of the UCLA Health Training Center. South Bay won last year’s preseason matchup and then went on to win the regular season series (3-1) between the two division rivals. The two Pacific Division teams will meet four times during the regular season, with their first meeting on Tuesday, December 5 in Prescott Valley.
The South Bay Lakers will open the 2017-18 regular season on the road against the Santa Cruz Warriors at 7:00 PM on Saturday, November 4, at the Kaiser Permanente Arena. South Bay’s inaugural regular season game at the UCLA Health Training Center will take place on Wednesday, November 8 at 7:00 PM against Santa Cruz.
