South Bay Lakers Set Opening Night Roster

EL SEGUNDO – The South Bay Lakers have announced the team’s opening night roster for the 2017-18 season, it was announced today by General Manager Nick Mazzella.

South Bay waived forward Jason McManamen and guard Franklin Session to finalize the 2017-18 Opening Night roster. South Bay’s roster currently stands at 13 and includes three returning players, three players selected in the 2017 NBA G League Draft, two local tryout athletes, two affiliate players and two players on two-way contracts. Rookie center Thomas Bryant is currently on assignment from the Los Angeles Lakers.

South Bay will kick off the regular season on the road against the Santa Cruz Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, from the Kaiser Permanente Arena. The Lakers host their home opener at the UCLA Health Training Center on Wednesday, November 8 at 7:00 p.m. against the Warriors.
