D-Fenders Waive Three Players

The Los Angeles D-Fenders have waived forwards Wendell Faines, Khyle Marshall and Ray Turner, it was announced today by General Manager Nick Mazzella.

Faines and Marshall were invited to training camp after participating in a local team tryout. Faines played two seasons at the University of Idaho, averaging 1.8 points and 1.9 rebounds in 9.2 minutes per game. Marshall, a four-year letterman at Butler University, played in 140 total games for the Bulldogs, averaging 9.8 points and 4.4 rebounds in 21.4 minutes per game.

Selected in the third round of the 2014 NBA D-League Draft by the D-Fenders, Turner played collegiately at Texas A&M and averaged 9.2 points and 6.2 rebounds during his senior season. Turner most recently played overseas in Cyprus and Australia.
