EL SEGUNDO – The South Bay Lakers have acquired point guard Javan Felix, it was announced today by General Manager Nick Mazzella.
During the 2017-18 season with the Oklahoma City Blue, Felix appeared in 48 games (three starts), averaging 6.6 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 16.4 minutes per game. Felix tallied 14 double-digit scoring games, including two 20-point contests. He played in 132 games (78 starts) over four year at Texas, averaging 9.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists.
Felix is expected to join the Lakers in Las Vegas where South Bay will take on the Lakeland Magic tomorrow at 2:30pm as part of the MGM Resorts Winter Showcase.
