South Bay Lakers Set Opening Night Roster

EL SEGUNDO – The South Bay Lakers have announced the team’s opening night roster for the 2018-19 season, it was announced today by General Manager Nick Mazzella.

South Bay waived guard Wes Van Beck to finalize the 2018-19 Opening Night roster. South Bay’s roster currently stands at 14 and includes four returning players, two local tryout athletes, two affiliate players, two players acquired through draft-day trades and two players on two-way contracts. Rookies Isaac Bonga and Moritz Wagner are currently on assignment from the Los Angeles Lakers. Wagner will continue his rehab progression while with South Bay.

South Bay will kick off the regular season when they host the Stockton Kings at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, from the UCLA Health Training Center.
