South Bay Lakers acquire Cameron Oliver

The South Bay Lakers have acquired Cameron Oliver, it was announced today. In a related move, the team has requested waivers on Gabe Levin.

During the 2021-22 campaign, Oliver (6’8”, 239) appeared in 25 games for the South Bay Lakers, averaging 13.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.4 blocks in 25.5 minutes per game. Oliver received a call up from the Atlanta Hawks and played two games for them last season, averaging 11.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 21.5 minutes. Oliver played in the Liga ACB in Spain for Unicaja Malaga in. In 14 games, averaging 8.6 points, 5.2 rebounds in 20.4 minutes per game. Oliver finished last season in the Philippines.

Levin appeared in seven games for South Bay during the 2022-23 season, averaging 2.1 points and 1.7 rebounds in 5.0 minutes per game.
