South Bay Lakers Acquire First Round Pick

The South Bay Lakers have acquired a first round pick in the 2025 NBA G League Player Draft from the Rip City Remix. As part of the transaction, South Bay sent the returning player rights to D’Moi Hodge to the Remix.
Hodge signed with the Lakers on July 3, 2023, and appeared in seven regular season contests, averaging 2.0 points in 5.9 minutes. The British Virgin Islands native saw action in 16 Showcase Cup and regular season games (four starts) for South Bay, recording averages of 11.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 steals in 22.6 minutes.
