South Bay Lakers Acquire KC Ndefo

The South Bay Lakers have acquired the returning player rights to forward KC Ndefo from the available player pool, it was announced today.

Ndefo (6’7”, 206) appeared in 33 games (32 starts) for Seton Hall during the 2022-23 season, averaging 8.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.9 blocks per game. The Brooklyn native registered multiple blocks in 20 games last season and finished second in the Big East with 62 total blocks. Ndefo recorded 15 double figure scoring games during the year.

Ndefo spent four years (2018-2022) at Saint Peter’s University playing 118 games (78 starts) and averaging 10.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.6 blocks per contest. Ndefo earned the Lefty Driesell National Defensive Player of the Year Award for the 2021-22 season as the top defensive player in Division I and was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Year for the third consecutive season.
